Why Won’t You Help Your SELF?
After, over four decades, of providing and leading, many hundreds of personal development, self-help, and personal growth, seminars, and programs, I have come to strongly, believe, if you hope, to be, as fulfilled, and happy, as possible, it is, up = to – you, because, you must, proactively, do all you can, to help, create, a SELF, which maximizes the possibilities, and options, and reduces personal stresses, and tensions!
In other words, it’s, up – to – you! With, that in mind, this article will attempt to, briefly, consider, examine, review, and discuss, using the mnemonic approach, what this means and represents, and why, it should matter to you, if you hope to be, the best, you can be, and more fulfilled, and self – satisfied!
1. Strengths/ stronger; solutions; serving; sustainable: Each of us has, some strengths, as well as weaknesses! Becoming better, means, using every area of strength, to make you better, and stronger, while, proactively, realistically, addressing, every weakness!
Consider many options and alternatives, and focus, on those, who will best, serve you, serving your self-interests, in a positive, productive way! Carefully, consider, not only, addressing, real and perceived, current issues, and obstacles, but, how to beat proceed, with a sustainable, viable, plan, and course, of action!
2. Excellence; endurance; enrichment; efforts: Too often, people seek the perceived, path, of least resistance, accepting the self-imposed, limitations of their comfort zone, and considering, good – enough, an acceptable path! If you want to serve yourself, however, you must demand your utmost degree of personal excellence, because, while it may be more challenging, to do, so, in the longer – run, it is, almost always, the best approach!
This takes, endurance, persistence, and a real desire, to enrich your existence! How one uses his efforts, and the quality of them, often, differentiates, the happiest, most – fulfilled, individuals, from the rest – of – the – pack!
3. Listen; learn; lessons; leading: Each of us, must believe, in ourselves, and proceed, with, self – love, because if you don’t care, deeply, no one else will, either! Commit to effectively listening, and learning, from every conversation, and experience, to gain true expertise, and, hopefully, maximize your judgment, and, wisdom!
4. Face facts; fate; fruition; future; furnish: Avoid lying to yourself, and/ or, resorting to wearing, rose-colored, glasses, but, face the facts, with an open – mind, and emphasize, the best way, to furnish, yourself, the best – possible, life! Taking this responsibility, and bringing the best paths, to fruition, ensure you, of the best – possible, chance, for a better – future! You must take responsibility for your fate!
Why will some procrastinate, instead of doing, everything, possible, to help, your SELF? It’s up to you!
