Vito’s Restaurants Present: Take Me Out To The Ballgame
WINDSOR- We all love going to a baseball game and eating some ballpark food, but this is ballpark food taken to a new level.
On Thursday, May 22, Vito’s Restaurants hosted an Angry Orchard Ballgame Dinner at Vito’s by the Water in Windsor.
The dinner will include five courses of ballgame themed food, each paired with a different Angry Orchard inspired cocktail.
“The boys of summer are back, so what could be better than a ballgame themed dinner,” said chef/owner Rob Maffucci.
Menu
1st Course: Ball Park Orchard Fondue
Pretzel bread, frickles (fried dill pickles), and apples. Served with a two cheese Adam’s Apple fondue.
2nd Course: Angry Lobster Roll
New England style lobster roll, dressed with Angry Orchard butter. Roasted corn slaw.
3rd Course: NY Yankees Inspired Prime Rib Slider
Prime Rib, aus jus, and Angry Orchard horseradish cream sauce. Served on an onion roll with fried apple and jicama.
4th Course: Ode to the Ballgame
Sausage ‘n peppers parfait with parmesan polenta, loose sautéed sausage, herbed soft onion and peppers, homemade marinara, and finished with shaved parmesan.
5th Course: The Ice Cream Dog
Grilled and lightly cinnamon sugar frosted hot dog bun filled with vanilla ice cream. Topped with bananas foster, whipped cream, and nuts.
